Albert's Journey
Albert’s journey is deeply rooted in the values of hard work and community service. He was raised on a farm near Willowbrook, Saskatchewan, where his family has lived for more than 120 years. His great‑grandparents homesteaded in the area, and his parents later took over the family farm where he grew up. They were originally hog producers before transitioning into cattle and operating a mixed farm with dairy and beef cows, along with grain production. Growing up on the farm taught him the value of hard work through daily chores, with hours that shifted depending on the season—whether it was seeding, harvest or calving.
He spent two years working in the northern community of Stony Rapids at the local store, which supplied goods to residents throughout the region. When he returned to the Yorkton–Melville area, he purchased his own mixed beef and grain farm, located two miles from his parents’ and brothers’ farms. This is where he lives today with his wife, Delphine. He also spent a summer tree planting in northern British Columbia and later worked at a meat‑processing plant in Yorkton for approximately 12 years before completing his Associate of Arts in Information Technology degree in 2009. In 2010, he began working for the provincial government, where he continues to work today.

Community Involvement
Beyond his professional work, Albert has consistently demonstrated a commitment to serving others. He has been involved with several political boards, including the Canadian Alliance and the Conservative Party of Canada, serving as a board member, registered financial agent, vice‑president and president for Garry Breitkreuz. He also served as a board member for Cathay Wagantall.
Over the years, he has served on the Melville Baptist Church Board of Directors in various positions. He currently serves as an usher and previously taught children’s church at Heritage Baptist Church in Yorkton. He has also assisted with the church’s Clothing Swap, a community outreach program that provides free donated clothing to residents of the Yorkton–Melville area.
